We are Comrade Ape

Comrade Ape is the collaboration between Swedish freelance journalist/media producer Andreas Sjöblom and Mexican blogger/media producer Berenice Hernandez.

We are still constructing the site, so we don’t have a hell of a lot uploaded yet, but in the meantime why not check out photo blog. More will come very soon. Promise.

The Quick Facts
  • One is Swedish the other is Mexican.
  • We write, photograph and produce videos and radio stories about life as we know it.
  • We are currently based in Shanghai Sweden and Mexico City
  • Andreas has a B.A. in journalism and media production from a fancy Swedish university.
  • Bere went to an even fancier school in Mexico and got her B.S. in engineering and later an M.Sc. in international business from the same fancy school as Andreas.
  • After meeting Andreas, Bere decided it was much cooler to work in media than business.
  • We are not only very gifted journlists, we are damn nice people too.
